Privacy Policy for Creative Session

Effective date: August 14, 2026

Encirco Studios (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Creative Session collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Content You Provide

Creative Session allows you to import, create, organize, and work with content such as:

  • Audio files

  • PDF and script files

  • Project and folder names

  • Notes, markers, highlights, and loop points

  • Other information you choose to enter or import

This content is generally stored locally on your device unless you intentionally share it with another participant or use a feature that requires cloud-based synchronization.

When you collaborate with another person, that participant may be able to receive or view the files, notes, playback changes, markers, loops, and other information you choose to share.

Collaboration and Session Information

Creative Session uses Firebase services to support internet-based collaboration. We may process:

  • An anonymous Firebase user identifier

  • Session codes

  • Host and participant identifiers

  • Session creation timestamps

  • Playback position and play/pause status

  • Markers, loops, notes, and related session activity

  • Connection status and participant count

This information is used to create sessions and synchronize app activity between participants. Creative Session does not currently require users to create a named account.

Device and Technical Information

Our service providers may process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and diagnose the app, such as device information, app version, network status, crash information, and service logs.

Phone and FaceTime Calls

Creative Session does not record or store the audio from your phone or FaceTime calls. FaceTime and SharePlay are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own privacy practices.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate Creative Session’s features

  • Import, play, organize, and annotate user-selected files

  • Create and manage collaboration sessions

  • Synchronize playback, loops, markers, and notes

  • Transfer content that a user intentionally shares

  • Maintain app reliability and security

  • Diagnose technical problems

  • Respond to questions and support requests

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. How Information Is Shared

We may share information in the following circumstances:

With Other Participants

When you join a collaborative session, information you choose to share may be visible or transferred to the other participants. Copies received or saved by another participant may remain under that participant’s control.

With Service Providers

We use service providers that help operate the app, including:

  • Apple, for iOS, FaceTime, SharePlay, TestFlight, and App Store services

  • Google Firebase, for anonymous authentication, databases, synchronization, storage, security, and related backend services

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect users, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect the rights and property of Encirco Studios.

Business Transfers

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.

4. Advertising and Sale of Information

Creative Session does not currently sell users’ personal information.

Creative Session does not currently use personal information for third-party targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. If advertising or tracking features are introduced, this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures will be updated.

5. Storage and Retention

Files, projects, and annotations stored locally remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app.

Cloud session information may remain in Firebase until it is removed through routine maintenance or in response to a valid deletion request. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.

Deleting content from your device does not necessarily delete copies that another participant previously received or saved.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no internet transmission, cloud service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should share session codes and private creative materials only with people they trust.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you.

You may also:

  • Delete locally stored projects and files from the app

  • Leave a collaborative session

  • Decline to share a file

  • Revoke applicable permissions through iPhone Settings

  • Request deletion of associated cloud session information by contacting us

Because Creative Session currently uses anonymous identifiers, we may need information such as a session code or other details to identify the relevant cloud records.

8. Children’s Privacy

Creative Session is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.

10. Third-Party Privacy Policies

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Creative Session develops or when legal, technical, or business requirements change. The updated policy will include a revised effective date.

Continued use of Creative Session after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
